Team SPRAWL's very own Miguel Alo compellingly forced the referee to end the fight early in the first round as he let loose a barrage of punches once securing the mounted position on opponent Manilo Espejo of Newblood Kickboxing.

Miguel's first round success provided an action-packed opening rumble for the 9th Fearless Fighting Championship tagged Uprising, which was held in the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City last April 4, 2009. Consequently, this was Miguel's first triumph in the Fearless Fighting Championship and it won't certainly be his last. Miguel is actually on a live win streak as he also ruled over his opponent last year during the URCC University Challenge 3.

Congratulations Miguel Alo on your successful MMA career start and the team wishes you all the best in the endeavors ahead of you!

Also that night, SPRAWL striking extraordinaire Swing Ellar was ruled by the doctors as unfit to carry on due to a kick that grazed and bloodied his right eye. However, this was arguably the most controversial fight of the night as spectators and non-spectators alike thought the opponent was disqualified for kicking Swing Ellar while on a downed position.

Much to the amazement of many, it was the hand of the opponent from Submission Sport Philippines, which was raised by the referee at the end of it all.

At the end of each fight, the big screen shows replays of the corresponding match's highlights. It's funny though how that such thing was obviously cut short after this particular match. Hmmm... hiding something?
